NOTE>> Update 04/2022: We are meeting back at the church, Face Masks optional and snacks are being served. Slowly returning to normalcy.
WELCOME To the Foothills Chapter of The Embroiderers’ Guild of America, Inc. (EGA). We are a member of the EGA’s Rocky Mountain Region and a chapter of the national EGA organization.
Foothills is a stitching group primarily comprised of people from the Denver Metro area, but we do have members from around the state and in other states as well. We all enjoy needlework of many different kinds including: cross stitch, surface embroidery, needlepoint (canvas), ethnic embroidery, blackwork, samplers, beading, temari and much much more! You do not need to be an expert stitcher and we love teaching beginners, so please visit us!!
We do ask that you join the chapter after two visits.
If you love to cross stitch, embroider, needlepoint or do any of the many other threaded needlearts, or want to learn – Foothills EGA is the place for you!!
We have 12 meetings a year and meet the first Monday of each month (unless it falls on a Holiday and then a new date is chosen).
Join us at the Holy Shepherd Lutheran Church, 920 Kipling Street, Lakewood CO (East side of Kipling just north of 9th).
We start at 9:30 AM for time to sign in, check out future programs and socialize a bit. Then at 10:00 the program starts followed by the meeting. Also take time to check out the Library and Show and Share Table. After the meeting stay for lunch at the church. Members take turns as hostess.
We also have an EVENING MEETING ONCE A MONTH. The night group meets the second Wednesday of the month at a member’s home. Whenever possible they have the same program as at the day meeting. We would love to have you visit one of our meetings!
The Foothills chapter is part of the Rocky Mountain Region, which is one of thirteen regions within the national EGA organization. Joining the chapter entitles you to Region benefits also. To see what the Rocky Mountain Region is about click here > RMR-EGA
